Kapil Maheshwari

Kapil is a Registered Valuer and brings more than 15 years of experience in the field of M&A, Investment Banking, Insolvency Law, Business Valuations & Corporate Restructuring. He has worked on various engagements like for Insolvency valuations (DHFL, Prius Commercial, Woolways India etc), Buy Side (Zbee India), Mergers (Mercury Fabrics, DLF, Pragmatic etc) and Purchase Price Allocation/Impairment (Tata Housing). He is also representing professional service firms at NCLT or CIT under various proceedings. Kapil is a frequent speaker on M&A and valuation matters in different forums including VC Circle, NIFM, ICAI etc.

Prior to starting K-ZEN, Kapil has worked with RBSA Capital Advisors LLP as a Director-Investment Banking. There he was instrumental in supporting some of the large government disinvestments as a Transaction advisor. Kapil also was part of the Restructuring Services and have worked on CIRP resolution process for initial large resolution mandates handled by the firm. He has worked with organizations like JLL, ICRA and Assetz at senior corporate finance and corporate real estate (CRE) roles and has both operational and deal experience including mezzanine fund raising, investment exit for global stressed funds, credit ratings & non core asset sale for large Indian corporates etc. He has also been part of space planning & consolidation team at Accenture (secondment from JLL) in the early part of his career.

Kapil is a commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, has a degree in Law and a post graduate degree in Finance from DU. Kapil is certified with High Honors in Advanced Valuation from NYU Stern University and is also a Registered Valuer under the Financial Assets category. He holds a diploma in Islamic Finance Qualification from SII (UK) and certification in International Trade Law & Alternate Dispute Resolution from Indian Law Institute.
